  1. Jofra Archer To Miss IPL 2021, T20 World Cup And The Ashes The dangerous England pace bowler, Jofra Archer, who had sustained a stress fracture in his right elbow during the earlier tour to South Africa in 2020, has been ruled out for every series this year, including the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, the entire five- match Test series against Team India, the T20 World Cup as well as the much-important Ashes later this year. Image source by twitter Jofra Archer was expected to return in England colour during the 3rd Test against the Indian team, but now with the setback in recovery, it is most likely that he will have to undergo another surgery. However, after the injury, he just played one game in T20 Blast after which he was asked to take rest for a month for regaining complete fitness. And, this became as a major blow for England team as well as the Rajasthan Royals team in IPL. However, after a recent return for Sussex, bowling nine overs in two white-ball games, Jofra Archer again felt discomfort, and after consulting with the specialist, the final news that came hass become another massive blow for England as well. As per the quotes in the Guardian, an England spokesperson said: “The England and Wales Cricket Board can confirm that England fast bowler Jofra Archer underwent further scans on his injured right elbow last week. The scans revealed that he has suffered a recurrence of a stress fracture. In response to these findings, he has been ruled out for the rest of the year and will miss the current Test series against India, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, and the Ashes series in Australia.”

The operation [was] not related to the stress fracture that sidelined the player previously. He will now spend time on an extended break from cricket before returning for a medical review in early autumn.” Follow Cricadium Stats, Latest Cricket News, Live Cricket Score, Fantasy Tips, Dream11 and Today Match Prediction Stay updated Indian Cricket Teamwith all the cricketing roster, records, history & action.
