MS Dhoni's legacy will remain for a long time, says Danish Kaneria

Former Pakistan player Danish Kaneria believes that the current Indian team, as well as the Chennai Super Kings team, will follow the footsteps of the legendary MS Dhoni for a long time. His comments came after Indiau2019s win where he was impressed to see the way Deepak Chahar played his innings by taking it to deep ad helped India win in the second ODI against Sri Lanka.

MS Dhoni's legacy will remain for a long time, says Danish Kaneria Former Pakistan player Danish Kaneria believes that the current Indian team, as well as the Chennai Super Kings team, will follow the footsteps of the legendary MS Dhoni for a long time. His comments came after India’s win where he was impressed to see the way Deepak Chahar played his innings by taking it to deep ad helped India win in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. Image source by twitter Danish Kaneria also said the way Ravichandran Ashwin bowled in Australia and feels that MS Dhoni has played a key role in both the events. And he believes the Indian team has adapted Dhoni’s ideology quite well. While speaking on his YouTube channel, Danish Kaneria said: "The legacy that MS Dhoni will leave for India, as well as CSK, will remain for a long time. The way Ravichandran Ashwin has performed in Australia, the way Deepak Chahar has performed of late, one understands that they have adapted to the requirements of the team and are following it. How to take a game deep, how to win a game when the team seems to be down and out, it is all Dhoni's legacy." As far as Pakistan team is concerned, they also have legends and former players like Inzamam-ul-Haq, Wasim Akram and to name a few as they have also achieved great things in their era. However, Danish Kaneria feels that the team has failed to caary forward that legacy. Kaneria, however, wants Pakistan to play fearlessly and not give up until the end as well.
