  2. Employment HistoryResearch Experience • Mc Neil Pharmaceutical 1979- 1984 • Drug Metabolism Department • Developed drug assays using HPLC and GC • Conducted preclinical studies investigating ADME in various species – rat, dog, monkey

  3. Employment History1984-1990 • Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories Drug Metabolism Department Conducted ADME studies using radioactive compound Autoradiography Supported clinical staff at satellite laboratory in use of data acquisition system for HPLC

  4. Volunteer Work • 1994 – 1997 VITA (Volunteers in Teaching Alternatives of Bucks County) Tutor in Math for GED • 1999 New Jersey State Museum – interacted with school groups on tour • 1993-95 Den Leader (BSA) • 1996-97 Brownie Leader (Girl Scouts of the USA)

  7. My teaching Style • Lecture with notes (I try to keep to a minimum) I like to have students fill in information from textbook • Group Work with Hands-on Activities • Demonstrations • Lab Work • Games • Keep students active and engaged.

  8. Classroom • Traditional classroom – student desks with attached seats • Demonstration Table in front of class • Sink in back of classroom • Glassware, Balances, chemical stockroom, Television with VCR and DVD • 6 PC’s in class, one with TV connection

  9. Assessments • Tests and Quizzes • Lab Reports • Drawings and cartoons of concepts • Class Participation in Games • Worksheets as formative assessments and homework
