  1. Robot Design Presentation • Students create their presentation using digital authoring tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Adobe Spark, or Microsoft Sway. • Videos are not allowed.

  2. Presentation Requirements • Title Slide • School Name • Team Members • 15 slide maximum • Must be the original work of the students. • No statics displays or videos. • All work product must be contributed by members of the team. • Adults must refrain from over-involvement.

  3. Requirements (continued) • References must be properly cited to avoid plagiarism. • Teachers, mentors, and coaches may provide guidance but cannot work on the presentation. • Email a link or the actual presentation as an attachment to rkamiya@gusd.net • The STEM Presentation is due no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2019.

  4. Presentation Judging • Judging will be based upon the STEM Presentation Rubric. • Judging will be based upon the content and effectiveness of the presentation. • Judging will be completed before the date of the competition. • The results will be announced during the Awards Ceremony.

  5. Main Rubric Points • Introduction gained attention and interest. • Main points clearly organized and easy to follow. • Main points supported with sufficient evidence. • Evidence from qualified sources. • Reasoning clear and sound. • Language is clear and concise. • Conclusion reinforced the main idea. • Graphics support and enhance the main points.
