Radiosonde Payload • 12-channel GPS on – board • Fast response Sensors • Pressure, Temperature & RH Sensor fitted • Ozone Sensor optional • 4 extra channels for any other Sensors • Microprocessor-controlled logging – uses AVR RISC processor • FPGA used for signal processing • Digital Synthesised Transmitter (DDS technology) in 400-410 MHz band • GFSK Modulation • Choice of NiMH or Water – activated battery MicroMet

High Performance Receiver • Digital synthesized ultra-sensitive RF Receiver • FPGA based signal processing • Fully microprocessor – based Controller • 2X16 VFD Display for real-time display of data & system set up • 4X6 long-life tactile Keypad for system operation • Removable Flash Memory up to 128MB -- Enough for 600 two hourly flights • Can also be used without PC . Data can be down loaded on PC later & analysed • Rechargeable Battery used in the System • Rugged & Reliable MicroMet

Application Software • Comprehensive Application Software built-in, based on MicroMet - DAD suite • User-friendly -- Can be used by inexperienced operators • Standard Displays include TEXT, NUM DATA, X-YR, SCR, CCR & BCR • System Displays include Skew-T log P diagrams, Hodographs, Wind diagram with Elevation Angles, Stuve diagrams & Winds • Ballistic applications software available • Easy-to-use Set Up utility • Any number of Set-Up’s can be stored • Host of other utilities include Insert, View • Report Generation Facility • Can print in any display or report mode • Custom Software available MicroMet
