Celebration and Recognition • SHS/SJHS - School of Innovation • SHS/SJHS – Started a flex Thursday • SHS – Lennox Grant • SHS – Top 3 school in SE Region based on High Math ACT Aspire Growth • SHS – Donnie Boothe is in Year 1 of the Master Principal Program • SHS – Stephen Saranie is participating in the Assistant Principal Leadership Academy • SHS –Kate Slenzak and Andrew Camp are participating in the Teacher Leadership Academy • SJHS – Mr. Castillejo received grant for Robotics • SJHS - $50,000 GEAR UP Grant purchased math software, 3D printers and ipads

  5. SJHS – Amy Marek is in Year 1 of the Arkansas Leadership Academy Master Principal Program • SJHS – Top 5 school in the SE Region based on Middle Math ACT Aspire Growth • SJHS -Jimmy Castillejo is in the Teacher Leadership Academy • SJHS – Two teachers attended PLTW • SJHS – 15 different clubs for students • SJHS – Competitive Robotics Team

MMS – Student placed 1st in Best of Show 6th Grade Art in Eastern Region and displayed at the Arkansas Art Educators State Student Showcase. 5th grade art student placed 4th in Eastern Region • MMS – 4th year in a row the OEP at the U of A has recognized as a High Achieving School in the SE Region. • MMS – Beating the Odds in Math-Statewide High Math Growth top 7 in the state • MMS – Outstanding Educational Performance – High Math Growth Southeast Region • MMS – Beating the Odds in Math High Growth – SE Region • MMS – Beating the Odds in English/Language Arts – SE Region • MMS – Archery Team was 3rd in Regionals – 4th year to qualify for state • MMS – Football Team was 2nd in Regionals

PAE – Pam Dean is in Year 3 of Arkansas Leadership Academy Master Principal Program, is participating in the ADE Pilot Cultural Responsive Leaders, and is in Year 2 of LEAD Principal for Arkansas (Quest) • PAE – Bridget Neal is a part of the Teacher Leadership Academy • PAE – Bridget Neal, self-contained special education teacher, is the Stuttgart School District Teacher of the Year • PAE – Lauren Jacobs has participated in the LEAD Teacher pilot with ADE • PAE – Matt Euler is participating in the Assistant Principal Leadership Academy • PAE – has established Student Housing System in grades 3-4 • PAE/MMS – Kelly Clawitter was selected to be a part of the Leader to Leader Program.

  8. PAE – Denise Houghton is in the process of becoming a RISE Trainer • PAE/SPED – 1 of 23 districts selected for the BXE Behavior Pilot Program out of 81 districts that applied. Ann Johnson, LEA Supervisor, work to get this needed training for us. • PAE – Katie Martin is working on her internship to be certified as a Behavior Specialist. • PAE – Daily Leader voted the best school and after-school program • PAE – OEP Beating the Odds in ELA 2017 • PAE – OEP Best Growth in Math Scores 2017 • PAE – Beating the Odds in Math 2017 • PAE – Presented to the Arkansas Board of Education
