SLAVES!!!!. Alex Heffner. Where they came from……. Ships came from Africa with hundreds of slaves crammed in one small space. On the ship they were given little to no water. When they got here…………. When slaves got to America they were sold and split from their family.

  2. Where they came from……. • Ships came from Africa with hundreds of slaves crammed in one small space. • On the ship they were given little to no water.

  3. When they got here………… • When slaves got to America they were sold and split from their family. • They were sent to work on plantations, ( no pay) and worked sun up to sun down.

  4. Race was important because….. • If you were African American you had no rights and were owned by people of a different race.

  5. Inventions…… • BIFOCAL GLASSESBenjamin Franklin invented bifocal glasses in the 1700s. • COTTON GINThe cotton gin is a machine that cleans cotton, removing its many seeds. Invented by Eli Whitney. • LIGHT BULBThe first electric light was made in 1800 by Humphry Davy, an English scientist. And many more………….
