Homework • Find an example/reference WM plan to become your orientation • which one/what you like to adopt • Start creating the format for your WM plan • do the outline / list of content • start formulating visions/objectives • name limitations and challenges • create chapter on the legal references/framework • (only the relevant documents, only the relevant stipulations/deadlines, highlighting priorities addressed by your WM plan; no copy & paste of the entire documents / legislative text !!!!)

Homework • Collect information relevant for future development dynamics: • Population dynamics • Any new industries coming to town? • Any new hotels / resorts? • Begin drafting chapters with status information • coverage, territorial data • status of collection, equipment, costs • forms / routes of disposal • Status of waste generators (inhabitants, tourists, companies etc.) • who are the relevant stakeholders

Homework Present in February: • Visions / Objectives • What do you want to achieve with the WM plan and who (not what!) do you need for that • Status information • What do you have already? • Waste and population data, trucks and bins, financial data • Expected future development dynamics • Any interesting developments expected?
