To make their tires more durable, the company is now seeking help from artificial intelligence experts and IoT experts to create smart tires. Here are a few examples of how Goodyear is using AI and IoT: ● Eagle 360 Urban tire- This tire model by Goodyear makes use of IoT. Goodyear is 3D printed with a super-elastic polymer and has sensors in it. These sensors send road and tire information to the AI-enabled control panel. Based on this data, the tread of the tire changes to match the road condition and ensure a safe and comfortable ride. In case the tire is damaged, then with the help of the data and sensors, the tire gets into a self-repair mode.   7. Oxygene tire- With this model, the company has taken a step ahead. Besides using embedded sensors and AI panels, it makes use of living moss and photosynthesis to run the sensors. The self-generated electricity powers onboard sensors, an AI processing unit, and a light strip, which illuminates when the driver changes the lane or applies the brake.
