  1. YOUTH AND MEDIA IN EUROPE ISG High School CAS Created by Deniz and Chiara

  2. Our Project • ISG High School students run this project on etwinning, the community for schools in Europe with 90627 active teacher members and 5278 active projects. • We share this with LyceeOdilon Redon in France and Liebnizschule Gymnasium in Germany.

  3. Surveys • Each school prepared one or more surveys. Each school created a survey on media: radio, TV, newspapers and internet. • On ‘www.surveymonkey.com’ we shared our surveys with them. 10th Grade also participated • We have been working on the results of these surveys and we will share the information as soon as we collect the results.

  4. Articles • Each High School student wrote an article on a current event and saved it on etwinning platform. • The etwinning work will prepare us for next year project that consists in learning how to present news in the different languages and to be more aware of current events.

  5. Italian Newspapers P.S: We will do these for French and English newspapers and magazines

  6. Italian Magazines

  7. Interviews • All the work that we’ve done gave us the idea of interviewing the people in media to have a different point of view from the inside news. • All the interviews were done through Skype. • The 12th grade students of Italian B did the interviews. • We are working on the translation of the interviews to French and English. • We interviewed: • ElianaQuattrini, journalist from Corriere Mercantile • Marco Formento, website designer from Secolo XIX • AnselmoRoveda, chief editor from Rivista Andersen • We hope to interview: -Gianlucafrom Radio Babboleo - Eleonora, chief editor from Zai.net

  8. Conclusion • Thanks to the different interviews we came up with new ideas : • AnselmoRoveda, Rivista Andersen, had the idea to interview Mme. Seys and wrote an article on our school library that will come out in September. • Eleonora, Zai.net, accepted to give us a column on new technologies, that we will write in English. She will also display the two extended essays written by Giulia Marini and Greta D’Alessandro about the French suburbs in an photograph exhibition called Jeunes des Banlieues. • Radio Jeans invited us to participate with English and French channel. The Radio will soon come at school to decide next year’s program
