  3. Introduction • Monthly Membership Program that promotes NEW MEMBER RECRUITMENT, MEMBER RETENTION, and PARTICIPATION in Council Programs

  4. Development Phase - Council July - August • Grand Knights, Council Membership and Program Directors develop 10 Power Teams • Select Team Leaders / Co-Team Leaders • Assign membership to a council team • Complete Membership Interest Survey • Schedule Monthly 1st Degrees

  5. Development Phase July - August District Deputy Involvement: Assist Council Officers Create Power of 10 Team Report to Regional Diocesan Chairman Number of Teams in District Monitor Team Progress Schedule 1st Degrees – Major Degrees

Implementation PhaseSeptember - June • Each Month each Council Team Recruit 1 New Member • Council members in good standing that are inactive must be contacted by a Power of 10 Team leader once a quarter • Members who attend council meetings and functions who suddenly fail to participate – immediate contact • Contact members who fail to pay dues

  7. Implementation PhaseSeptember - June Council Teams MUST maintain positive Growth Councils not recruiting or have negative growth, District Deputy must visit council and offer his assistance to help the council attain positive growth Road Map to Star Council

  8. BLITZ MEMBERSHIP DRIVES Teams must participate in the Fall and Spring Blitz Membership Drives Maintain Positive Membership Growth Bonus Recruitment Activity

  9. Diocesan Coordinator Duties • Contact District Deputy before August 15th to confirm councils have functioning Power of 10 Teams • Monthly communication with District Deputy to discuss status of councils • DD and Coordinator visit weak councils – Develop Strategy for Growth

  10. Diocesan Coordinator Duties • Monthly communication with Elected State Officers • Prepare a Diocesan Degree Schedule • Coordinate attendance for Major Degrees • Attend Chapter Meetings – Conduct seminars on how to have Positive Membership Growth
