  2. Option #1: Non-objective multi-piece Non-objective Art= artwork that does not represent a person, place, or thing. Art that is “free form.” Focus is on form, space, and movement.

  3. Option #2: Abstracted figure(s) Figurative= Artwork that contains or represents the human figure either in detail or symbolically. Abstracted= Altered / simplified imagery

  4. Gesture drawing- quick sketch of a figure that “captures the pose”

  5. Sculpture considerations: -Will you need or want a base or will your sculpture be free-standing or will it hang? -Will you incorporate other paper or fabrics? -WIll your sculpture be functional? -How will my sculpture create movement or convey action/emotion? -Will my sculpture have smooth flowing lines or straight hard edges?

  6. Thinking process / final presentation WIRE: -Connections -Base, free-standing, or hanging -How do I create FORM CLAY: -Ventilation -Support (will I need an armeture) -Connections -Texture, pattern, accents...
