  1. Reasons for Regular Car Servicing If you own a car, you know that most of us are guilty of not opting for a regular car service. While there can be many reasons for this, three main reasons are lack of time, money and having a lot of myths. Most of us believe that if the car is in good condition and there are no apparent reasons noticed for service, we are good to go. But that’s a myth as well. What we forget is that a service is the step between a minor repair job and a serious and expensive fault down the road. Listing down some major reasons for a regular car service: • Safety – Many car accidents happen because of low maintenance of the vehicle. Worn out brakes, improperly inflated or worn tires, worn wiper blades, or exhaust or gas/fuel leaks are easily preventable through regular car servicing. • Resale Value- A car that has received regular maintenance will be worth more than one that’s been neglected or abused. So if you’re the one that changes cars regularly, service is a must for your vehicle. Most pre-owned vehicle buyers focus a lot on the service history of the car. • Reliability- A car is a huge investment. If you take care of it, it will remain reliable and offer better performance. There would be fewer roadside emergencies and breakdowns. Regular car service can reveal small problems like a weak battery or a cracked hose before they leave you stranded. • Lower Costs- If you have been driving a car and know it well, you would know the importance of regular car service. It saves a lot of money, time, and most importantly, stress! Running on low fuel, tires with little to no treading, no coolant – these are things that can and will eventually increase the amount of money you put into your car. • Pollution- Last but not the least, if you care about leaving your footprints and harming the environment, you should be motivated enough to opt for regular car service. Vehicle emissions contribute directly to the global pollution, but a car that has been maintained consistently will produce lower amounts of dangerous fumes and fluids that can potentially

In short, regular car service offers these benefits: • Helps maintain engine quality • Improves fuel economy • Prolongs the life of your engine and hence the car • Highlights any outstanding safety issues or wear and tear on suspension, steering and braking systems It is highly recommended that you get a professional car service done every 5,000 kilometers or every 3,000 miles, which may consist of a simple oil change or could involve a full-service check of the car including safety checks. Drive safe, Drive Bindaas!
