    2. MIKROMAN MINING Mikroman Mining is a growing family company.The owners are Mr. Saran and Mr. Karabay. The mine area is 1667 hectares. The Mikroman Mining has its operating licence for 49 years in this area. The mine is the biggest quartzite deposit of Western Turkey and located at Yatagan/Mugla. Mikroman Mining started its operations in 1991. Our products are used in various sectors, such as composite stone, metallurgy and glass and ceramics industry. Our production capacity is: 5000 tons of granule/month, and 15000 tons of lump quartz/month.

    3. RESERVE The reserve of the south part: 2.274.614 tons The reserve of the northern part : 3.413.851 tons The reserve of the remaning ore body outside the vein :1.000.000 tons The total ore reserve is about 6.688.465 tons To make an estimation for the total reserve according to this ore body : 1/3 massive quartz,1/3 fine banded quartz and 1/3 heavy banded quartz.

    7. QUALITY CONTROL Quality Management System is used in all units in Mikroman Mining

    8. SHIPMENTS The distance from the plant to Güllük port is 73 km and 180 km to Izmir port. Güllük port is used for lump quartz shipments, Izmir port is used for container shipments.
