  3. TESTING SCHEDULE Monday, April 15th– Tuesday, April 23rd • Reading-Day 1 and Day 2 • Math- Day 5 and Day 6 • Science-Day 3 and Day 4 • MATH-computer based test

  4. Reporting Categories • Number: Base Ten and Fractions(50%) • Geometry and Measurement(30%) • Expressions, Equations, and Statistics(20%)

  5. BIG IDEAS • BIG IDEA 1:Division, Algebra, and Data • Chapters 1-5 • BIG IDEA 2: Fraction and Decimal Operations • Chapters 6-7 • BIG IDEA 3: Geometry and Measurement • Chapters 9-11

  6. How to access FLDOE site! • FCAT Prep • Log on to FLDOE/www.fldoe.org • Click on Testing at the bottom left hand corner • A list of tests will appear on the left side • Find Florida Comprehensive Assessment test(FCAT) • All subjects will appear along with an answer key

  7. HELPFUL TOOLS • Reading selection based, or data/chart driven questions • FCAT Explore helps students learn about and practice the skills tested on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). • FCAT Resourceshttp://rmtc.fsdb.k12.fl.us/content/fcat.html • Practice, Practice, Practice: Multiplication facts (1-12), subtraction and regrouping, and adding and subtracting fractions.
