  2. What is Engineering ? And What do engineers do? Engineering is the branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines, and structures. "By applying the principles of mathematics and science, engineers develop solutions to the world’s biggest technical issues."

  3. The term Engineering is derived from the Latin "ingenium," meaning “cleverness” and "ingeniare," meaning “to contrive, devise”.

  4. Branches of Engineering chemical electrical civil, information technology electronics & communication computer engineering, aeronautical.

  5. Why is Engineering so Important to Society? Engineers, and the practice of Engineering, have one primary goal: to benefit mankind.
