  5. Charred insulation from OH lead fault in 2007 Crack or void in outer groundwall insulation Lower Lead Location Possible OH short location through void to OH tension tube via support plate that has been removed.

  6. Recommended Repair Steps Clean void in insulation and surrounding area using ethanol, Q-tips and scotch-brite Thoroughly dry insulation area Fill void area with Hysol 3561/2039 and glass bead- slurry mix Overwrap repair area with (2) layers of epoxy/glass tape If possible add Kapton around steel pins to further isolate OH leads from tension tube Allow epoxy 24 hour cure Electrical test OH repair Restore OH/TF bus links and umbrella lid

  7. Proposed Repair Schedule • Friday & Saturday AM- Thoroughly Clean Lead area • Saturday- Make epoxy repair • Sunday- Full cure • Monday- Test OH coil • Monday thru Wednesday AM- restore bus systems and umbrella lid • Thursday AM- Return to tests and operations
