My Strengths • I am good at helping people. • I like children and animals. • I am good at matching colors and organizing things. • I don’t mind working hard as long as I know what I am supposed to do. • I like to sing and do crafts. • I am good at using computer programs. • I am in good health and I am dependable.

  4. Things That Are Hard for Me • Sitting still for long periods of time • Speaking in Public • Activities that involve hard math problems • Making good decisions when I am nervous, scared or under stress • Memorizing a lot of information at one time • Writing papers

What I have done to get ready • Worked in the School Based Enterprise • Worked in on-campus jobs in the cafeteria, the office and as a teacher helper • Worked in the church daycare • Volunteered at the YMCA summer program • Off-campus training at Polkville’s Florist, Belk’s and Ingles • I have taken Digital Communications and Computer Applications

  10. This is how you can help me… • I need help with transportation. • I do not know what I can take at the community college. • I have trouble with math. • My parents do not have much money to pay for college.

  12. This is how you can help me… • I need a job to get money to get an apartment. • I do not have any furniture. • I need transportation. • I do not have a bank. My money is from my mother who gives me an allowance.
