  2. OUR SUN • The sun is a star. • The sun is the hottest planet in our solar system.

  3. Mercury • The surface of Mercury is similar to our moon. • The planet Mercury is the 3RDplanet.

  4. Venus • Venus and Earth are the some size only 638 km different. • The moon is brighter than Venus.

  5. EARTH • Earth is the planet we live on. • When you are in space the Earth look mostly blue that is the water .

  6. MARS • Mars is the 4 planetfrom the sun. • The color of Mars is orange and black.

  7. The Asteroid Belt • Asteroids are small bodies of the solar system. • The Asteroids also orbit around the sun.

  8. Jupiter • Jupiter is the 5th planet from the sun. • Jupiter is more massive than all the other planets combined

  9. Saturn • Saturn is the 6 planet from the sun. • Saturn has rings that are visible.

  10. uranus • Uranus is a gas planet. • Uranus has 27 moons.

  11. neptune • Neptune has at least 13 moons. • Winds can reach at least 2,000 miles per hour.

  12. the dwarf planet • Pluto is 1 dwarf planet. • Pluto has a rocky surface.

  13. galaxy • Galaxies have at least 1 million stars. • The Galaxy has three different parts to it.

  14. comet • A Comet is an icy body that releases gas or dust. • They often are compared to dirty snow balls.

  15. universe • The Universe is constantly being destroyed. • The Universe spans diameter of over 150 billion miles.

  16. other dwarf planets • Some Dwarf planets are Pluto , Eris and more. • There are at least 6 Dwarf planets in our solar system.

  17. telescope • Telescope helps you see far. • They were first being used in the 17th century.

  18. constellation • A Constellation is a group of stars that form into patterns. • There are different Constellations like Luaus the hare.

  19. other stars • Other stars are giant ,luminous spheres of plasma. • There are millions of other stars in our Milky Way galaxy.
