  2. The International Day of the Abolition of Racial Discrimination takes places annually on 21st March International day Against Racial discrimination

A LITTLE BIT OF STORY... • Why do people “celebrate” this day against racism¿? • On that day, in 1960, police opened fire and killed 69 people at a peaceful demonstration in Sharpeville, South Africa, against the apartheid "pass laws". Proclaiming the Day in 1966, the General Assembly called on the international community to redouble its efforts to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination

  4. THE UNITED NATIONS: 21st OF MARCH Was created by the United Nations,as other days like: healthy mental day, Holocaust (II mundial War), non-tobacco day or the international day of water. A lot of people participated in this days, I think that is a very good initiative

  5. Why does racism exist? • Racism exists because of power, money, wars, lands and some people who manage the world.
