  2. What is the building made of • It is made of straw or tile roofed houses.

  3. How long is your school day • They start at 8a.m. to 4p.m.

  4. What do they learn • They learn science and math.

  5. What do they eat • They eat kimchi, cabbage, hot peppers and fish.

  6. Do they wear uniforms • Some children wear cadet style caps.

  7. Do they have chores • They help clean at the end of the day.

  8. What resources do they have • They have computers.

  9. What language do they speak • They speak Ural - Altaic and Turkish and Mongolian.

  10. Dose your School have Grades ( 1 2 3) • Yes they do. Elementary school is 1-6 grades. They have 6 years of primary school, three years of middle school, then three years of high school. Schools in south Korea used to be all girls in one school and all boys in an other school. Now most schools have gone co-ed.

  11. Do they have rules • Yes they do.

  12. What games do they play • They play dodge ball, jacks, soccer, and baseball.

  13. What holidays do they celebrate • They celebrate Children's day. And they celebrate teachers, and mothers day

  14. How many students are in a class • There are 30-40 students in each class.

  15. Other • They play soccer , basketball , baseball, and swimming. • Students must bow to there teachers . They call there teachers math teachers or science teacher.

  16. Other • School vacations usually go from Jan. to Feb. They learn lessons on traditional manners.

  17. Other • The first day of school is very important. Parents buy new suits for the occasion. There are also special days like sports day or holiday celebration.

  18. Other • They don’t use cars. They use buses, and bikes. Only business people use cars. High school people stay in school for the season.
