How to Account for these shifts • I argue these shifts can be explained by the ever increasing dominance of neoliberal ideology and values in economic policy and political debates. • Creating new products and markets • Austerity politics and privatization • However, these trends do not right the wrongs of stratified reproduction • Classed and race notions of womanhood • Unequal access to reproductive technologies
