  2. 1.Introduction What is pagoda? A pagoda, in Southeast Asia, is cone-shaped monumental structure built in memory of Buddha.

  3. 2.Objective To know Pagodas are indeed unique landmarks of Myanmar.

  4. 3.Shwedagon Pagoda In the capital city of Yangon, you will find the beautifully majestic Shwedagon Pagoda.

  5. 4.Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda which was built in the year 574 BC more than 2500 years ago and today also known as Golden Rock Pagoda in Myanmar (Burma).

  6. 5.Shwezigon Pagoda Shwezigon Pagoda is located in the town of NyaungOo four miles to the northeast of the ancient city of Bagan. It is 160 feet high and 160 feet wide at the base.
