  2. Getting Around • Our Bell Schedule • Consists of 8, 40 minute, periods, with a Homeroom at the beginning of the day. • Lunch is served during period 5. • Students have 3 minute class changes. • A variety of Alternative Bell Schedules are listed in your handbook.

  3. Getting Around • Students are to only enter building through the front entrance or bottom entrance. • Homeroom begins at 7:32am. • Students arriving to HR after 7:32am are tardy and must report to the HS Office for a pass. • Morning Announcements are conducted via our building intercom. • Pay attention so you don’t miss something. • If you are late to Homeroom, you are considered late to school.

  4. Cafeteria/Lunch • Lunch is served during period 5. • You have 3 minutes to get to café from your previous class or you are considered late. • Students entering the café for lunch are to report directly to a table and be seated. • A standard lunch costs $2.20, but many other choices and selections are available with a variety of costs.

  5. Cafeteria Conduct • Students will be dismissed from their table to serving line by café monitor for middle school. • Students are NOT permitted to remove food or beverages from the café without a teachers permission/pass • Students leaving the café during the lunch period, must have a pass and sign out.

  6. Cafeteria Conduct • Students are to dispose of trash and clear their table, and push in their chairs before leaving. • Students are to follow all directives from the Cafeteria Monitors and Cafeteria staff. • Students are to remain seated while in the cafe and conduct themselves appropriately.

  7. Student Dress Code • The following are inappropriate for school and NOT permitted: • Short shorts or skirts (fingertip length when arms are extended at side) • Shirts/ Tank Tops that show undergarments or are “low cut” or “exposing” • Hats, hoods, bandanas, or head sweat-bands. (Hats are to be removed upon entering the building and placed in a locker.)

  8. Student Dress Code • The following are inappropriate for school and NOT permitted: • Jewelry, clothing, or body art with suggestive, obscene, or vulgar wording or graphics or which advertises/promotes drugs, alcohol or tobacco products. • Pants worn below the waist-line. • Visible undergarments. • Clothing with excessive holes, rips or tears.

  9. Headphones • Students are NOT permitted to wear any headphones in the hallways during the school day. • Students may use their headphones in the morning before 7:30am, and in the cafeteria during their lunch • Students may also use their headphones at teacher discretion in the classroom.

  10. Cell Phones/Electronic Devices • Students may appropriately use these devices when assigned to the café as part of their lunch schedule Or • With their teacher’s permission, as part of the class or lesson.
