    1. ICON Ind. Inc. Model 821 Earthmover

    2. Throughout 2005, ICON has been researching, designing, and testing the 821 pull type scraper.

    3. With a goal set at producing the best machine available today, with features and benefits not offered in any other scraper, the results are in. ICON is announcing release for sale, the 821 scraper. Orders are now being taken for delivery in 2006

    4. In review of a few of those features and benefits, we offer the following. The machine starts at the front with the heavy duty cast 360 degree swivel Quickattach hitch. Designed to take on 600 horsepower, this super duty hitch is not only strong, its safer in the event of a scraper rollover.

    5. The 821 is a front lowering machine with 12 x 12 x square tube hitch beam. Two 5 industrial cylinders raise and lower the scraper. CAT hydraulic hoses are used throughout the machine. An accumulator is housed in the 16 x 16 front cross beam, with the purpose of softening the shock on the frame and hitch when the machine is loaded in rough haul road conditions.

    6. High tensile steel is incorporated where necessary to strengthen the structure. The strong double wall design depicts a pleasing aesthetic appeal.

    7. Ejection is handled by the time proven and patented Swingwall design. Rapid and clean, the Swingwall design is the most durable eject available.

    8. Two 20.5 x 25 on the inside and two 23.5 x 25 tires on the outside are offset to provide a dual plane and good flotation.

    9. Disc brakes are standard on the 821 and require the tractor to have the system and brake port.

    10. The 821 scales out at 21 yards and provides a narrow transport at only 11 ft. 11 inches wide.

    11. Should the scraper be ordered with the tandem package, a rear Quickattach hitch is installed. If the 821 is ordered as a single, a push block is installed at the rear.

    12. The 821 scraper is assembled at the factory, lubed, filled and checked with hydraulic oil, making the machine ready for the worksite on delivery Warranty is 6 months from the date of sale, lease, or rental with rubber track or tire tractors up to 600 engine horsepower.
