Where people come to find work • Every day: • Employers advertise 15,000 jobs on our jobsite • Over ¾ million people search for vacancies on our jobsite • Over 6,000 people move into work • More than 60 employers are helped by our dedicated small business recruitment service. 3 Working with employers Department for Work and Pensions

  4. The more we understand your business,the better we can support you • Our service is free and we put you in control. We can: • Help meet your recruitment needs • Help you build your business by equipping people with the skills you need • Connect you with support from across government and local partners • Support you and your employees if you need to make redundancies. 4 Working with employers Department for Work and Pensions

Universal Jobmatch • A new, on-line job-posting and matching service is being introduced from Monday 19 November 2012 • Universal Jobmatch will replace all existing DWP vacancy taking services • The service is free*, accessed via GOV.UK, available 24/7 and is in English and Welsh • You will need a Universal Jobmatch account to use this service • *Your usual internet provider charges will apply 5 Working with employers Department for Work and Pensions

Universal Jobmatch – the benefits • Universal Jobmatch is easy to use and will speed up your recruitment process • It will automatically match information on CVs to the job you post online • You will be able to see how well an individual/ jobseeker matches your job ranked by ‘best match’ first • You can test the labour market before you advertisea job • You will be able to upload a number of jobs in one go 6 Working with employers Department for Work and Pensions

Universal Jobmatch – how it works • You will post your job online • Individuals/Jobseekers will upload their CVs online • The service automatically matches suitable CVs to the jobs posted by you • You get a list of the most suitable matches • You can then choose who to invite to interview 7 Working with employers Department for Work and Pensions
