  4. Graduation Requirements • 23.5 credits in specific classes • 2.0 GPA • Community Service – 40 hours () • State Testing Requirements • Must pass Smarter Balanced ELA • Must pass Algebra or Geometry EOC or Smarter Balance Math • Must pass Biology EOC • High School and Beyond Plan

  10. Math • Need signature from current Math teacher • 4 Years of Math- all colleges expect it • Students can earn Bellevue College math credit through College-in-the-High School for several courses now- see math teacher

College Considerations • Colleges want to see Rigor andBalance • Colleges will look at senior year! • 4 Years Math and Science • World Language (2-4 years) • Fine art (UC = 1 year of same class) • U of Calif. schools and many others (No “D” grades) • CADRs for Washington state schools • Senior year: math or math based science class or pre-calc. in junior year. • College visits – use breaks to visit

  17. Running Start • High school and College credit ( dual enrollment) • Assessment test may be required in English • If interested, you MUST go to the BC website and follow the steps- www.bellevuecollege.edu/runningstart

  18. Online Course Selection • You must choose your courses using the online course selection system by: March 20th https://myclass.bsd405.org

Online Course Selection Reminders • Select 7.0 regular credits and at least 2.0 alternate credits (WaNIC & 0 pd) • When you are complete, click Turn In. • Complete your online selections by Sunday, March 20th • We will pick up your forms in English classes starting the week of March 21st • Course Catalog at bsd405.org

  20. Remember… • Include Alternates for your electives • Choose Carefully – “you choose it, you get it, you keep it” • Make your course selections challenging and college focused • Forms are due starting March 21st
