  2. Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the sun. http://www.brainpop.com/technology/energytechnology/solarenergy/

  3. Solar Energy is Renewable

  4. Alexandre Edmond Becquerel discovered solar energy in 1838.

  5. Solar energy has slowly been entering the residential market. It has also gotten better over the years.

  6. Alexandre Edmond Becquerel created the first photovoltaic panel when he was only 19 years old in 1839.

  7. Solar energy is found in the light from the sun. It can be recovered by solar panels.

  8. Solar energy is recovered by solar panels.

  9. Many residential, commercial, industrial and remote areas use solar energy. It can be used for vacation homes that have no other power source, for pumping water, for recharging batteries, for transporting signals, or many other things.

  10. Solar energy is usually stored in batteries for use when there is no sun.

  11. Solar energy can also bestored in a solar farm. It is usually stored in generators for later use after it is generated.

  12. We get solar energy from its stored state through a battery or generator.

  13. Solar energy is used for a variety of things. Some of those things include lighting, cooking, making saline water, and heating water.

  14. Solar energy is being used more and more today. The price of fossil fuels is rising, and our solar technology is increasing, so more people are buying solar panels to help with the cost.

  15. Advantages and Disadvantages Advantages: Renewable Free energy The production produces no pollution Silent Last long and don’t break easily Disadvantages: Costly to install solar panels Only available when there is sun Low efficiency - Solar panels take up a lot of land It can get dirty, and you have to climb up on your roof to clean it off May look bad

  16. Solar energy most likely will be part of the future. The number of people using solar panels to harness solar energy is increasing, and so are our technology and knowledge of solar energy. future

  17. Scientists are working on a Parabolic Dish to concentrate the sun's rays into photovoltaic Cells. They are also working on making solar panels cheaper and smaller.

  18. In the In thirty years, solar panels will most likely be smaller, more efficient, and they will probably be more common. 30 Years
