  1. CPS signs MoU with BAPIO Today marks an important milestone in the relationship between the British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (BAPIO) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai (CPS Mumbai). In the presence of the Deputy Head of Mission, Catherine Barnes, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MOU gives an opportunity for Indian students to be trained in the UK as also will strengthen the medical system of the UK by providing specialist health care professionals . The MoU is a significant step in strengthening ties between the two organizations and will help to build capability and capacity in the Indian as well as UK health workforce. It will also support the development of new initiatives and collaborations, including training opportunities and maybe even in the field of research. It is hoped that the MoU will lead to further collaboration and the development of new initiatives in the field of medicine that will benefit both countries and will help to improve the health and wellbeing of people in both countries.
