  2. Oda : Earlier life • Eiichiro Oda, born in January 1st 1975 and was raised in Kumamoto city, Japan. At a young age he was inspired to be a manga artist by Akira Toriyama’s work and his interest of Vikings. Kumamoto in Japan Akira Toriyama These amines especially made Oda take the career path of a animator: Oda’s artistic skills then came in when he drew character for the manga Kinnikuman (Muscle man).   3. Oda :Key Roles/Skills Up to the present day, Oda has experience and done a lot of work relating to his artistic skills. Key skills he shows to the media itself are below: Animator (Mangaka) Manga writer Character Designer Oda is mainly skilled at his animation where as a mangaka (which is Japanese for cartoonist) he creates animes and draw different animations for them. Oda is also a manga writer which in this role he writes narrations and plots for animes and mangas as well. He puts a lot of effort into he’s writing making his work good to read. As a character designer, he creates and draws his own characters for a specific anime or manga. His characters designs for some of his work are sort of good in a way.

  4. One Piece One Piece is a anime and manga base on a boy, Monkey D. Luffy who wants to become Pirate King , which is a role as king of the seas after reaching the final island. He will meet may allies and enemies on the way. Oda started the manga from in 1997, where two years later the anime was created up to the present day. Genre: Fantasy, Action-Adventure , Comedy-drama

Why Eiichiro Oda? • Why I chose Eiichiro Oda as my media hero? • I have seen and currently reading some of his work ( One Piece ) . • He story development in the manga is very interesting to read and hard not to stop. • Oda been called “One of the manga artists that changed the history of manga”. • Turn his ongoing manga into a successful anime for Japan. Not to mention that One piece manga is presently the best-selling manga series of all time in Japan ( and second in the world after Dragon Ball) with 270 million copies.
