Mission of the Triune God “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” John 20:21  “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 We go there where Christ is not yet or is no longer known, and we help those who are in need of support.   6. Mission of the Church Mission has been given to the Church. Mission means sharing the Gospel in words and deeds. Local parishes implement their mission together with the mission organizations of the Church and FinnChurchAid. Office for Global Mission

  7. Church Law, Chapter 4 • 1 §. Duties of a parish. In order to implement the mission of the Church, a parish arranges services, conducts baptisms and eucharists and other pastoral acts, implements Christian education and teaching, counseling, diakonia and mission, as well as other aspects of proclamation and service, based on the Christian message.   8. Church Statutes, Chapter 4 • 4 §. A parish and its members will promote the mission, the purpose of which is to share the Gospel among those who are not Christians. These actions are specified in the guiding principles for the mission approved by the church council or the parish council. Office for Global Mission

Theyimplimentthe mission and theinternationaldiaconia of our Church togetherwiththeirinternationalpartners.
