  1. HEALTH RELATED BLOGGER Meditation that Change your Life December 15, 2022 M editation is a skill Like learning any other ability, meditation can be learned. Imagine that you are working a muscle that has never actually been worked before. To become comfortable, you need to practise consistently. And having an instructor usually makes things simpler. There, we've got you covered. The term "Meditation" in Buddhist tradition is comparable to the word "sports" in American culture. According to Richard J. Davidson, Ph.D., director of the University of Wisconsin neuroscience lab, it is a family of behaviours rather than a single item. Similarly, various meditation techniques call for various mental capacities. It takes some time to become accustomed to your mind. There may be obstacles in the road, but it is all part of the meditation process. Keep training. Just by being present, you're doing fantastic. There is no perfect kind of meditation. Your attention may occasionally shift or you may forget to breathe slowly. It's alright. It is a component of the experience. The most important thing is to continuously practise meditation. It's one of those situations when the trip rather than the destination is key. With our own thoughts, words, and the very energy we absorb from our surroundings, we are able to programme our DNA. To activate your DNA and develop advantageous programming that could raise your vibration and ensure your overall wellbeing, practise meditation every day. Other Meditation Techniques There are various other meditation techniques. For example, a daily meditation practice among Buddhist monks focuses directly on the cultivation of compassion. This involves envisioning negative events and recasting them in a positive light by transforming them through compassion. There are also moving meditation techniques, such as tai chi, qigong, and walking meditation.

  2. 1. Concentration Meditation Concentration meditation requires concentrating on one thing. This could involve paying attention to the breath, reciting a mantra or a single phrase, gazing at a candle flame, hearing a gong strike repeatedly, or counting beads on a mala. Since it might be difficult to focus the mind, a beginner may just meditate for a short period of time before increasing the time. In this type of meditation, whenever you detect your mind wandering, you simply bring it back to the chosen object of attention. You simply let odd thoughts go rather than chasing them. Your ability to focus is enhanced during this process. 2. Mindfulness Meditation The practise of mindfulness meditation helps the participant to pay attention to assailing thoughts as they pass through the mind. The goal is to just be aware of each mental note as it arises without getting involved with them or judging them. When you practise mindfulness meditation, you can observe the patterns in which your thoughts and emotions typically move. Simple meditation techniques for beginners This meditation activity is a great way to learn how to meditate. 1. Lie down or comfortably sit. You might even wish to buy a meditation cushion or chair. 2. Shut your eyes. If you're lying down, we advise utilising one of our Cooling Eye Masks or Restorative Eye Pillows. 3. Don't try to regulate your breathing; just let it happen naturally. 4. Pay close attention to the breath and how your body is moving as you breathe in and out. As you breathe, pay attention to how your body moves. Look at your abdomen, ribs, shoulders, and chest. Simply pay attention to your breathing without trying to regulate its speed or force. If your thoughts stray, bring them back to your breathing. Start off with two to three minutes of this meditation exercise, and then attempt it for long durations.
