Objectives: • Developing the awareness towards environmental problems in pupils by helping their teachers • Analyzing the risk factors in their own area; • Finding out strategies to address students, families and local authorities to environmental issues and facilitate the changes in behaviors which will become more oriented to sustainability • Sharing the works have been carried out, the results obtained and cooperating in the development of alternative and effective solutions • Promoting a culture of eco-sustainable use of the resources Overall Presentation of Project Activities

Improving the knowledge of our planet and providing important information to pupils • Involving in the project not only students, but also their families and local authorities and organizations, establishing a cooperation with institutions specialized in environmental protection • Promoting the involvement of the students in school activities, according to the idea of a student-centered approach, including, of course, those with special needs who find in practical activities an effective way to overcome their difficulties • Encouraging students to work as a group and develop their social skills using personalized learning approaches and collaborative learning

Developing ICT skills of both teachers and students through the use of modern technologies and virtual mobility • Producing a number of end products to share with the partners schools developing students’ and teachers’ skills, key-competences • Supplying precious occasions for teachers’ in-service training • Developing students’ critical thinking • Motivating students and engage them in “difficult” subjects (e.g. Science, Maths, Physics, Technologies) • Creating more fun in the classroom, and boost enthusiasm • Devising new learning patterns in order to facilitate the learning process

Finding a creative approach to special needs / physically impaired students. • Minimizing the gap between the lowest and the top graders. • Sharing our best practices • Developing skills like teamwork, problem solving, reasoning ability, self confidence • Making students more ready to their everyday life and for their future, using critical and logical thinking

Students aged between 7-14 with different levels of academic performance • There is no upper limit of the number of students to involve in this project in local and virtual activities • Involving SEN /fewer opportunities pupils (social, economic obstacles, educational difficulties, health problems, cultural differences), students with different abilities to experiment a real inclusive approach. • 12 school staff for the trainings in Romania, Poland and Spain Participants:

First Year (January - September 2018): January: • Observing and knowledge of techniques of waste handling, collecting, disposal, use, dumping off and recycling in each country • Classifying different types of waste and study the different times of decomposition and the ways of reuse and recycling • Collecting data, comparing, evaluating waste recycling and methods of waste disposal, handling and transportation to upload on the online platform • Separating the dustbins by function, decorate them connecting with the litter in them (deadline: 20. February: • Classifying different types of water through sampling on the surrounding areas the school (monitoring activity) and bacteriological/chemical water analysis (drinking and natural waters) (Lab activity); • Observing, researching, collecting data, comparing, evaluating water situation, methods and techniques of analysis to upload on the online platform (research activity) To do list before C1: • Prepare a report about: -school system -national legislation on inclusion of students -types of disability recognized by the law -types of disabilities present in your school -methodologies of inclusion used in your school

March 2018 C1-ROMANIA SHORT –TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING Each country will have a speech (no more than 15 mins speech and questions/discussion) going in detail about their home country and town, school, school system, national legislation on inclusion of students, types of disability recognized by the law, types of disabilities present in your school and methodologies of inclusion used in your school. Methodology comparison: similarities between the different methods and types of teaching.

ACHIEVEMENTS: - an increased teachers' and students' language competence; - an increased knowledge of teachers/students about waste management resources - an increased knowledge of activating teaching methods in partners' institutions • an increased knowledge of teaching methods with students with special needs promoting inclusive teaching strategies to avoid drop out as well 22nd March 2018: Celebrating the World Water Day in each country

TPM in Turkey PPT based on the theme: water in music and art - Preparing the mid-report - Evaluating the teaching methods adopted in the activities • Sharing information, exchange experiences and comparing data and results from the monitoring and analysis activities to upload on the online platform RESULTS: multimedia presentations, survey sheets, evaluation documents, mid-report, evaluation of the updating on the online platform and blog, workshop certification Research and study the different techniques of water purification in order to propose and find solutions about water pollution

  13. June: Promoting and publishing articles written by students about the water issues and the activities carried out, an event of collective mobilization in which students/families/ citizens are involved in collecting data in specific survey areas together with researchers

October 2018 C2 Spain SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING ACHIEVEMENTS: • an increased teachers' and students' knowledge about water situation/legislation in the partners' countries with the help of local authorities and institutions - an increased knowledge of teachers/students about national policies and legislations in different countries concerning the renewable energy resources and their development with the help of local authorities and institutions (the Local Environment Agency) - an increased skill in exchanging useful and creative ideas to plan lessons in CLIL methodology - an increased teachers' and students' language competence

  16. November: Researching activity on the relationship between the air quality and health December: Planning and organizing an informative campaign to reduce CO2 emissions and to raise awareness from smoking damages through an advert January 2019: Performing a short play/movie in each school with the title: "ECO INSPECTORS IN ACTION" February: A virtual mobility based on air issues: global warning and greenhouse effect, weather events, world air pollution, enviroment protection

  17. March 2019 C3 Poland SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING ACHIEVEMENTS: - an increased knowledge about air situation, methods and techniques of analysis; - an increased knowledge about the researching activity on the relationship between the air quality and health; - an increased knowledge about the normative campaign to reduce CO2 emissions. • an increased knowledge of teaching methods promoting active engagement Observing and classifying the different types of renewable energy resources through interviews and research Debating and evaluating the national situation, methods and techniques of producing renewable energy resources

  18. April: Visiting some plants producing renewable energy and doing a report with photos and videos (If possible) M3 Italy SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING AIM - Presenting and evaluating the activities and works on Waste Recycling and Water quality - Evaluating the first year of the partnership - Planning the cooperation with the national and local agencies dealing with environmental services and educational programmes in each country - Planning activities, mobilities and the cooperation for the second year for both teachers, pupils and schools the in each country - Evaluating and summing up the project using survey results, evaluation sheets, feedback of the recipients, etc… RESULTS: a contract, multimedia presentations, survey sheets, logo, blog, Facebook, online platforms

  19. June: Organizing the Energy Day during the European Sustainable Energy Week (June ) in each country promoting secure June 2019 M4 Hungary SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING AIM: - Discussing on and evaluating the activities and the works on air quality and the Sustainable Energy - Evaluating and summing up the project using survey results, evaluation sheets, feedback of the recipients, etc… - Sharing the outcomes and results - Writing the final report - Discussing the project sustainability and dissemination - Taking part into the workshop on active learning with the experts of Local Education Agencies (Scintille and Flipnet) RESULTS: evaluation documents, workbook, evaluation of the updating on the online platform and blog, final report, workshop certification

Europass documents on Trainings (CV, about the teacher training-skills to achieve) -Internal dissemination: other students,teachers,families -External dissemination: involvement of stakeholders and public authorities for positive action at local regional, media, article in the newspapers (and send it to the coordinator) Put the news on the institutional website of the school (and send a screenshot of the page to the coordinator) Make a facebook page Evaluation/Dissemination

  21. Each 4 months from the start of the project until its end in written form the partners will send a progress report to the coordinator on the implementation of the Project, covering the reporting period from the beginning of the implementation of the Project specified to the date when the report is sent. (Interim report) Official Interim report have to be sent to each NAs (official date unknown, they can change from country by country) and shared with the coordinator. ( Half time report, final report) Monitoring Protocol

  22. Certificate of attendance for all mobilities and TPMs: the hosting school has to issue them It’s very important that you record all activities done in the intermediate report! Certifications

  23. For partners management cost: 250 € per month for the Preparation and Implementation (24 x 250 € ) For the TPMs: 575 € per person for travelling 100-1999 km (all included) 760 € per person for distance >2000 (all included) Every country has 2 participants included per meeting. For the training activities teachers (4 participants): Travel: 275 € per person for distance band 100-1999 km (flight and transports) Individual support: 100 € per teacher per day (accommodation and meals) 700€ / 7 days Project budget
