  3. Required Performance • There are two required performances • Holiday Evening Concert on 12/15/2011 (Thursday) • Spring Evening Concert on 4/26/2012 (Thursday)

  4. Field Trip Performance Policy • Student’s grade for each playing exams in band class has to be 90 or above. • All the student’s subject grades have to be C or above such as math, reading, social studies & band etc. • His or her conduct grade has to be satisfactory (S). • No ISS or OSS • He or she cannot forget to bring his or her instrument, going home or coming to school more than 3 times for each 9 weeks grading period. • Perfect test score for multiplication table from 0x to 12x Note: Student will not have any field trips if he or she does not participate the CMS Holiday Evening Concert or CMS Spring Evening Concert.

  5. Grading Policy • 50% Exam • 35% Class Participation • 10% Materials i) Instrument ii) Band Method Book iii) Notebook iv) Music • 5% Homework Assignments

  6. Homework/Practice Requirements • Each student requires to practice his or her instrument at least 90 minutes per week. • I suggests practice 30 minutes per day. • Students are required to turn in their practice log on EVERY FIRST DAY OF CLASS IN EACH WEEK.
