And as you do this, you end up in a number of different situations, too. The storyline has several different parts, although they are connected together through numerous interwoven stories. A number of those stories involve your search to rescue the king's pursuit to rescue himself out of his rival, Queen Catherine. Another story focuses on a relationship between two different characters. Finally, there's a final narrative that involves your personal narrative. This last area of the game is known as the Endless Fall, which involves you following a timeline which leads to a death. However, because the game takes place within the course of two decades, there is no way for one to actually get to that point, but it's likely to view the game at a journal and see your progress. In the Hearts Stories you play, you have to pick between two very different endings. The very first choices stories you play update one, called the authentic Ending, is the route which permits you to rescue the King Henry in their issues. But when you fail at this job, you can't return to the past and make a decision later on. Rather, the decision you make will always stay in your current. However, should you end up succeeding, you will then visit the past and select another ending.
