  8. Psalm 130 From the depths of woe I raise to Thee a voice of lamentation. Lord, turn a gracious ear to me and hear my supplication. If Thou iniquities dost mark, our secret sins and misdeeds dark, O who shall stand before Thee?

  9. To wash away the crimson stain, grace, grace alone availeth. Our works, alas, are all in vain; in much the best life faileth. No man can glory in Thy sight, all must alike confess Thy might, and live alone by mercy.

  10. Therefore my trust is in the Lord, and not in mine own merit. On Him my soul shall rest; His word upholds my fainting spirit. His promised mercy is my fort, my comfort, and my sweet support. I wait for Him with patience.

  11. What though I wait the live-long night and ‘til the dawn appeareth, my heart still trusteth in His might; it doubteth not nor feareth. Do thus, O ye of Israel’s seed, ye of the Spirit born indeed, and wait ‘til God appeareth.

  12. Though great our sins and sore our woes, His grace much more aboundeth. His helping love no limit knows; our utmost need it soundeth. Our Shepherd good and true is He, who will at last His people free from all their sin and sorrow.

  13. How Great Thou Art O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder, Consider all the works Thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed;

  14. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

  15. And when I think that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin

  16. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

  17. When Christ shall come with shouts of acclimation, And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration, And there proclaim, My God, how great Thou art!

  18. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, How great Thou art! How great Thou art!

  19. 1 Peter 4 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

  20. Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken Jesus, I my cross have taken, All to leave and follow Thee. Destitute, despised, forsaken, Thou from hence my all shall be.

  21. Perish every fond ambition, All I’ve sought or hoped or known.Yet how rich is my condition! God and heaven are still mine own.

  22. Let the world despise and leave me, They have left my Savior too Human hearts and looks deceive me, Thou art not like them untrue

  23. O while thou dost smile upon me, God of wisdom, love and might Foes may hate and friends disown me, Show thy face and all is bright

  24. Man may trouble and distress me, ’twill but drive me to Thy breast. Life with trials hard may press me; Heav’n will bring me sweeter rest.

  25. Oh, ’tis not in grief to harm me While Thy love is left to me; Oh, ’twere not in joy to charm me, were that joy unmixed with Thee.

  26. Go, then, earthly fame and treasure! Come, disaster, scorn and pain! In Thy service, pain is pleasure; with Thy favor, loss is gain.

  27. I have called Thee, “Abba, Father”; I have set my heart on Thee: Storms may howl, and clouds may gather, all must work for good to me.

  28. 1 Peter 4 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

  29. Soul, then know, thy full salvation; Rise o’er sin, and fear, and care; Joy to find in every station Something still to do or bear:

  30. Think what Spirit dwells within thee; Think what Father’s smiles are thine; Think that Jesus died to win thee, child of heaven, canst thou repine?

  31. Haste then on from grace to glory, armed by faith, and winged by prayer,Heaven’s eternal day’s before thee, God’s own hand shall guide us there.

  32. Soon shall close thy earthly mission, swift shall pass thy pilgrim days;Hope now change to glad fruition, faith to sight, and prayer to praise.

  33. Our Great God Eternal God, unchanging, mysterious and unknown Your boundless love, unfailing, in grace and mercy shown,

  34. Bright seraphim in ceaseless flight around Your glorious throne, They raise their voices day and night in praise to You alone

  35. Hallelujah! Glory be to our great God! Hallelujah! Glory be to our great God!

  36. Lord, we are weak and frail, helpless in the storm Surround us with Your angels Hold us in Your arms

  37. Our cold and ruthless enemy, his pleasure is our harm Rise up, O Lord, and he will flee before our sovereign God

  38. Hallelujah! Glory be to our great God! Hallelujah! Glory be to our great God!

  39. Let every creature in the sea and every flying bird Let every mountain, every field and valley of the earth

  40. Let all the moons and all the stars in all the universe Sing praises to the living God who rules them by His word

  41. Hallelujah! Glory be to our great God! Hallelujah! Glory be to our great God!
