  2. My Art work is inspired by Yayoi Kusuma who recently set up artwork at Wellington City Gallery. She was the person who decorated the out side of the gallery with dots.

  3. About Yayoi Kusuma • Yayoi Kusuma was born in 1928 and still lives today. • Kusuma was famous in the 1960’s when pop culture art was famous • She was described as mentally ill and what she created was what she saw inside her head

  4. Yayoi Kusuma’s style of artwork was pattern and repetition • She created sculptures, paintings, drawings and even a room decorated with fairy lights, mirrors and water

  5. My artwork is based on The Moment Of REGENERATION The Moment of Regeneration is a sculpture installation comprising of 55 pieces that cluster together in the gallery space. This series of sprouting forms are similar to sea creatures, crawling tentacles or some kind of unusual plant life. The Moment of Regeneration is made of sewn fabric, urethane, wood and paint.

  6. My model My model is named Glisser which is French for ‘slither’. My model is made of clay, wood and paint
