What have we done so far? • Good progress to date • Commitment to work jointly on reviews • Issues and Options consultations – summer 2012 • Joint approach to broad locations on the edge of Cambridge, NFE, Cambridge East and Sub Regional Facilities • Received over 30,000 comments to both consultations

  3. Current Stage • Issues and Options 2 – Two parts • Joint Part 1 consultation – Development Strategy for the wider Cambridge area and site options on the edge of Cambridge • Part 2 – Site options within the urban area for the City and new issues arising for South Cambridgeshire

  4. Part 1 • Consideration given to: • Development needs • Green Belt • Sustainable Development Strategy • Site Options • Sub Regional Facilities

  5. Next Steps • Consideration by SCDC and City Council on 13 December • Consultation to run between 7 January to 18 February 2013 • Consultation on draft plans – summer 2013
