  3. Meaning….. • When you can use your faults to make you better you are stronger than the man who jokes you for them.

  4. Childhood dreams • When I was younger my dad introduced me to the game of basketball. • Ever since then I’ve wanted to be a basketball player. • I was never the best but I would always work hard. • My dad was my coach and he would never play me, when games got close.

  5. Ages 8 – 14 • Things are looking better. • As I got older I got better and began to start on future teams. • I did not make the basketball team in middle school. It set me back for a while.

  6. Present Time BALLER • I’ve been on the basketball team for all of high school. • I was on my way to being the best when I was in an car accident. I didn’t have any broken bones but I was bruised and sore.

  7. JOBS and MONEY • The WORLD is in a RECESSION and I have had two jobs in the past year. • I’ve been making cash money for a long time part time after school and basketball and it’s the motive.

  8. Overcoming Diversity for Success • The color of skin and my hair has had an impact on how people perceive me at first sight. • I have learned to act polite, dress appropriate, and work hard to gain peoples trust. • For ultimate Success in what I apply my self to.

  9. $ “Obstacles”/“Motivation” $ • People who were better than me were obstacles but were also my motivation to strive to be better and stronger. For the next time we meet.
