Digital Divide • According to National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research 2000 report • People with work disability: 24% own computers, 11% have Internet access at home • People without disability: 52% own computers, 31% have Internet access at home • These numbers decrease as people get older

  4. Personal Experience • Interview • Collaboration of software & website designers with people with special needs • Image tags • Flash tags • Uses: purchasing items, blogging, e-mail, research, news, etc.
