  3. Color of Sheep • Most modern sheep grow white wool. • Some sheep have natural colored wool that hand spinners, weavers wool craftsmen use for various colors. • In the wild west times, black sheep were used as markers for every 100 white sheep

  4. Sheep are herbivores (eats only plants) The sheep's’ diet consist of clovers, grass, and pasture plants. Diet

  5. Zoonoses is a disease that can be transmitted to people to sheep. Ringworm or better known as club lamb fungus is a fungus that can be transmitted from sheep to people.

  6. Other facts about sheep Some of our past presidents raised sheep. President Woodrow Wilson let his sheep graze on the white house lawn. Certain breeds of sheep can produce milk. The main purpose for sheep is for their wool and meat.
