  1. Protect Children From Child Labour And Ensure A Better Childhood For Them Children are the future of every country. This is why how well they are raised has a big impact on how prosperous a nation is. It’s important to put the time, energy, and resources into bringing them up and ensuring they have good personalities, morals and values in place, and are driven to prosper along with a high emotional quotient. Unfortunately, many children from low-income families must work every day to survive. This is the reality of life for a street child in India, and it is quite unfortunate. They are left to fend for themselves, even though all children must be under adult supervision and have access to their basic rights of education, shelter, food, healthcare etc. They look for odd jobs in vegetable markets,

  2. factories, railroad stations, bus stops, shady alleys, and even residential areas. Children work hard for long hours for wages that are below the minimum. Their overall health — physical, mental, and even psychological — suffers as a result. Child labour is a widespread problem in the country. Sadly, many people have opted to ignore this illegal practice because they have become accustomed to it. Unfortunately, wealthy and educated families frequently hire children as domestic help or nannies at home and for other jobs without reluctance. This must stop, and there must be an elaborate plan in place to aid in their rehabilitation and recovery — an evolved strategy and course of action are required now more than ever. In India, it’s common to see children begging in public places like intersections and large markets. The reason is that children from low-income families have no other way to access necessities. Even while they are working for their daily salary, they generally live in abject poverty without access to sufficient food or housing. Now more than ever, we must ensure street children are rehabilitated. For more than 30 years, Salaam Baalak Trust, an NGO in Delhi-NCR, has worked to improve the lives of street children. To guarantee that both boys and girls have access to basic resources, SBT runs Children’s Homes to offer them shelter and carries out varied child-centric programmes for their well-being. You can donate for children’s medical aid to ensure they have access to regular healthcare facilities. Your donation will give a happier and healthier future to children in need. You can also avail of a 50% tax exemption on your donation under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. So, help protect children and save tax.
