Division of Emergency Communication (DEC) • This report is for Jan 2018. • Training sessions (radio net) 4 for 56 person hours • Emergency activations – weekend weather net requiring continuous standby for weekend for 165 person hours • Work to maintain/repair antennas and tower installations to maintain communications after bad weather event for 16 person hours • Total person hours for January was 237 • Working with OES Director to provide technical support and advice on future radio purchase planning, especially for those that may be required due to current TACN system upgrades. • Failure to plan is planning to fail. • Your continuing support is vital and appreciated!
