  2. Principal’s Message Welcome to Wooldridge! Wooldridge is gearing up for another exciting year! It is my belief that school and home must work together to give students the outstanding education they deserve. I hope that you will make academic achievement your main objective for the school year. I am so confident that you will make a commitment to make positive contributions to Wooldridge Elementary School. We invite you to visit the school to see the quality education offered.   3. P. Wooldridge Wooldridge Elementary’s namesake dedicated himself to making Austin a thriving community. This former mayor and school board president’s foresight brought to Austin; Brackenridge Hospital, the University of Texas, and the Colorado River Dam.

  4. Major Goals: Campus Improvement Plan • All students served in regular education and students with special needs, as appropriate, will participate in an academically rigorous curriculum, based on the implementations of the Principles of Learning and a Texas Essential Knowledge focus. • All students will be reading on grade level by the end of third grade. • All students will build proficiency in math concepts through implementations of Math Investigations Program. • All teachers and administrators will demonstrate a clear understanding of Clear Expectations and Accountable Talk. as stated in the Principals of Learning. • Parents and adults in our school community will be provided multiple opportunities for involvement in all components of Wooldridge Elementary. • Wooldridge will exhibit a positive, secure environment, where respect is shown by and to all. Discipline referrals will decrease by twenty percent. • All staff and students will be provided multiple learning opportunities to increase their technological skills.
