  2. Tumatauenga • Tumatauenga is the god of the angry face and war. • He is the son of the earth mother and sky farther. • Tumatauenga advises his brothers to kill there parents in order to let the light in and let them free. • Tumatauenga was frustrated being cramped between his parents.

  3. Tawhirimatea • Tawhirimatea is the god of the weather the he is very very close to his dad. • He lives with his dad the sky father and his brother Rehua the god of the stars. • Tawhirimatea was that angry that his parents torn apart because the others want to see the light. • He was that angry he was attacking Tane forests snapped trees leaving them for food and then Tangaora the god of the sea so Tangaora hides in the sea so he doesn't get hurt..

  4. Tangaora • Tangaora is one of the great gods of the sea. • He is the son of the sky father and earth mother he joined his other brothers to separate there parents so Tangaora got attack by his brother Tawhirimatea

  5. Rongo • Rongo is a major god of the god of the cultivated food especially the kumara vital food crops. • Other food crops cultivated by Maori in traditional times include taro, yams and gourds. • Because of their tropical origin most of these crops were difficult to grow except in the far north of new Zealand . • Hence the importance of Rongo.
