  5. Timelines Appeal to students' visual, mathematic, and kinesthetic intelligences. Document the timeframe of a novel or the span of an individual's life. Completed timelines can be displayed as wall hangings, 3-dimensional "clothesline timelines", or computer slideshows. Civil War Timeline

  6. Create a Graph • Graphs allow students to see the relationship of complicated data in a simpler visual format • Students learn to read graphs by creating their own Pets We Own

Online Comic Strips • Create comic strips relating to characters/topics you are discussing in class. • Create a comic strip story using new vocabulary words that are being taught. • Filling in talk or thought balloons for different cartoon characters helps students practice conversation and language structure in a meaningful context. PhotoStory • Book Review -- Use this format for student's to create book reviews for the library. • Story Map-  Have students draw pictures or act out each of the story elements to aid comprehension • Paperless Research Paper:  What a great vehicle for presenting information.  The paper can be written and/or the Photostory 3 final product could be used to share the research via a kiosk.  Poetry
