Both the units are familiar, for they also do duty in the Thar. However, in the XUV700, power and torque figures have considerably increased. The petrol XUV700 develops 197bhp and 380Nm, while the diesel is available in two states of tune – 153bhp and 360Nm in the entry-level MX MT variant, and 182bhp and 420Nm in the AX MT variants.
