Internal computer awakens after input on the touchscreen by a user. • Barcode scanner projects red light on the product’s barcode. • Sensors detect reflected light, associate with a code. • Machine displays product information on the touchscreen. • Database locates proper information, relays back to the machines. • Computer sends a query to the company’s database about the code. • Weight sensors detect product weight. • (Weight matches database entry) • Repeat process from start until all products have been scanned • (Weight does not match database entry) • Halt all actions and send request for assistance from overseer terminal.
