What’s a Paragraph? • Any text that ends in ¶ • A blank line can be a paragraph • Selecting paragraphs • No need to select whole paragraph • Simply put insertion point inside

Bullets & Numbering • To make lists clearer • Can use “bullets” • Or numbers • Can have different levels • And sublevels
Character Formatting • Font size (Small, Medium, Large) • Font (Times New Roman, Arial) • Style (Bold, Italic, Underlined, Etc.) • Color
There are many character properties such as color that can help to make certain text stand out from the rest. But although this is quite important, it also runs the risk of being overused. When too many things are given special emphasis, the really important items will no longer seem so.
