  3. Unique Population • Could be sharing with ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the world (which can be REALLY kind of freaky)

  4. What could possibly go wrong?!? • Identity Theft • Using someone else’s private identity information to pretend to be that person • Once someone has your info: • YOUR NAME for a new license • Credit Cards to buy things • Can do lots of bad things with YOUR name • Trouble with the LAW!!!!

  5. Private Identity Information • This is information that should ALWAYS remain private • Full name (first and last) • Postal address • E-mail address • Phone numbers • Passwords (duh) • Credit card numbers • Calling card numbers • Social Security Numbers • Mother’s maiden name

  6. Personal Information • It is okay to share info that cannot be used to identify you: • Your age • Male/Female • How many siblings you have • Favorite band, food, etc….. • Name of Pets • Your opinion about different things • Can you think of more?

  7. Make a Collage! • Plan a collage about yourself that includes pictures, words, and other items. • Collage should only include PERSONAL INFORMATION • Explain the difference of Personal information and Private Identity information • Have a friend evaluate your collage to make sure it contains no private identity information!!!
